Team Coaching
Team Coaching
For leadership and functional teams navigating change, alignment, and direction.
Service Description
Team Coaching supports teams at moments where their context, composition, or mandate has shifted — when new priorities emerge, strategy evolves, or the way the team works together needs to be clarified and strengthened. Teams often engage in this work during periods of growth, restructuring, transition, or increased complexity, when alignment cannot be achieved through discussion alone. The purpose is to support teams in developing shared understanding around direction, roles, ways of working, and the values that guide decisions and behaviour. The work often begins with a team audit, using tools such as DISC-based behavioural analysis (Thomas International) and the Workplace Resilience and Well-being (WRAW) team assessment. These provide a grounded picture of team dynamics, pressure points, and collective patterns, which then inform the coaching focus. Team coaching sessions combine business focus with methods that expand how teams think and learn together. Through visual and kinesthetic processes — including metaphor-based tools — teams externalise their thinking by building, shaping, and making ideas visible. This helps teams access insights that are often difficult to reach through conversation alone, particularly where habits, hierarchy, or unspoken assumptions limit exploration. The aim is not creativity for its own sake. It is to help teams see their reality more clearly, strengthen collective responsibility, and translate insight into practical, shared action over time. HOW WE WORK TOGETHER 🧭 The team coaching relationship is structured, reflective, and pragmatic. We work with: • changes in team composition, direction, or mandate • vision, strategy, priorities, and shared goals • behavioural and resilience patterns at team level • visual and metaphor-based sensemaking • translating insight into clear actions and sustained ways of working I combine a strong business orientation with coaching processes that help teams step outside established thinking patterns — supporting learning, alignment, and ownership that can be sustained beyond individual sessions. PRACTICAL STRUCTURE ⏱️ Team coaching engagements typically include: • a one-day kickoff session • followed by a series of team coaching sessions over 3–6 months Each team session lasts between 2 and 4 hours, depending on team size and focus. The structure is adapted to the team’s context, objectives, and pace. For more information contact me at: 📩 vesselka@vesselka.com
